Donate Money
Your financial contributions are crucial to our work. They allow us to provide direct aid, such as shoes, winter coats, school supplies, and apartment furnishings. Meeting their near-term basic needs gives them the stability they need to find their footing, build their lives here, and achieve independence. Since we are entirely volunteer-led, virtually all donations go directly to support for the Afghan families.
Partner with an Afghan Family
Partner Family's are the core of the AAAGA's mission and operation. Each Partner family is paired with an Afghan family and works with them to orient them to life in the US (how we celebrate our holidays and traditions, how our job market works, how to navigate our education system, and more). They serve as the AAAGA's most consistent, direct connection to each family and are crucial to our goal of making new arrivals feel welcomed and at home. Donate Needed Items
In-kind donations are always appreciated, both new and gently-used. The families the AAAGA supports are in need of items like furniture, toys, household items, school supplies, and more.
