Five years ago, AAAGA began with a simple mission: to make sure Afghan families arriving in Georgia felt welcomed, supported, and never alone. What started as a small group of volunteers has grown into a trusted community organization, helping thousands of families build new lives filled with hope, opportunity, and belonging.

As federal funding for refugee and immigrant services continues to decline, the need for community support has never been greater. This gala is more than a celebration of our first five years - it's an opportunity to invest in the next five.
